That is indeed happening. The first time I tried it, it was fine, but now not so...maggot29 (2008-01-31)
A simple solution, really. Turn off your internet access temporarily by disabling your wifi or unplugging your ethernet, then launch ArtRage, and when it looks for update, click Cancel. Then turn off automatic updates in the preferences section. Works for me now.maggot29 (2008-01-31)

Turns out there is an updater that fixes many problems on Leopard, including checking for updates. The s/n here is banned so... no updater.Anyone?
